The Gift of Eucharist

Integrate Scripture at the core of every lesson and remind children that everything in life is a gift. As Catholics, we respond to God’s gifts throughout our lifetime as we celebrate the sacraments with thanks and praise.

This series also provides a complete Family Guide for the Hispanic Community which contains a Spanish translation of the child’s books.

The Gift of Eucharist program by RCL Benziger includes a student’s book in either hardcover or softcover. These books, beautifully designed with contemporary photographs and engaging illustrations, lead primary grade children to discover God in their lives, meet God in Scripture and Tradition, and live with God always.

The Catechist Guide uses an easy-to-follow three-step lesson plan with reduced student pages makes lesson planning and presentation effective and engaging. Every lesson begins with adult formation – an opportunity for catechists to learn about and reflect on the lesson theme.

There is also a song book for the children and an accompaniment book that contains guitar and keyboard arrangements.

The music CD “Gifts for  Lifetime” includes music components for both “The Gift of Eucharist” and “The Gift of Reconciliation.”

Parents and catechists can hail the arrival of the new online version of The Faith Connection, which continues RCL Benziger’s ongoing Green Initiative to protect our environment and preserve our precious natural resources.

The Family Guide provide a unique opportunity for nurturing family spirituality with prayers and activities while reviewing the children’s lessons.

The Program Director’s Manual includes a program overview, as well as tips for planning and formation, parent gathering models, celebrations, retreats for children and families, black line masters in English and Spanish, and suggestions for adapting the student text for older children.

The Gifts of Life and Love Family Book helps children and their families prepare for the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Eucharist. This is a perfect book for dioceses that used the Restored Order of sacrament reception, and for children in RCIA.
